Bet Denise is UPSET!

Wow, I was at a baby shower tonight while Idol was on and was I ever shocked to hear Michael Johns was voted off when I looked up the results online! I really thought this guy had a shot at winning the whole thing. Hopefully, he will get the same opportunity as Chris Daughtry who didn’t win Season Five but has gone on to have some major success.

I really hoped this season’s winner would be the most talented, unfortunately, it looks to be a popularity contest. There are still some super talented people left, however, Michael deserved to last longer than this.

I’ll bet she recorded it, but when it aired, Denise was dancing.
She was so cute in her new dress and red shoes to match. Larry had a red shirt to match and they did just great. They graduated square dance lessons last night. They are now members of the club.

Way to go kids, have fun. The food was good also. :)

Grandma Rhea and I went to watch and eat. :)

I think the look on Carly’s face tells it all… she was SO prepared to leave. I can’t believe it is so… Micheal should still be there. David Cook leaving would have made me happy… Actually at this point a very talented person is going to leave every week but I agree, it is a popularity contest now. Wonder how many more AI there is going to be? It had a good run tho.

I’m not an avid AI watcher, but I have to admit I was gob-smacked when I heard he’d gotten vote off.
