Random STufF from DonnaB

So, I tell Katie how much I like Safari and she asks if I’ve ever used Opera. I had a couple of computers ago when I was into web design and wanting to make sure my pages appeared as I intended them to in all the browsers. Well, after speaking with her today on Yahoo Messenger… pc to pc calls for free…. I downloaded Opera and it is now my default browser. I still like Safari for its simplicity, but Opera has a few gadgets and I like that, plus it is lightning fast too!

After some misteps with Messenger, she asked if I had another instant messenger. A while back when I wasn’t getting my emails from my favorite graphic site, I got a gmail account. They have a chat and instant messaging feature there too and she and I played around with that this afternoon. Fun stuff, y’all! If you have friends and relatives you would like to speak with for free… I highly recommend either Yahoo Messenger or Gmail’s Talk. All you need is a microphone and your speakers turned up or use a headset. I’m sure those of you still on dialup would not have a great experience, but there are no complaints with a broadband connection!
