School Reunion
Edward and I made our school’s reunion this evening and had an enjoyable time. Graduating from a small country school means you don’t have class reunions, you invite the whole school! One former student of the first graduating class of the consolidated school was in attendance tonight and that was all the way back to 1949. Many former students from the 50’s and 60’s along with a handful from the 70’s (I was in the ‘75 class) were there and come to find out, I knew a lot of folks in the earlier classes even though I thought I wouldn’t. I wish more of my class members would come, but really, there were only a handful of us anyway. I’ll work on them for the next one! All in all, a good night, especially since I could claim to be one of the younger ones there and I’m 50!
