Poor Bandit!
Just two short days ago, Bandit looked like this.
Today, this is her demeanor.
Unfortunately, Bandit was attacked by unknown critter(s), but more than likely it was a coyote. She lives at the homeplace and I knew something was wrong when she didn’t run to greet me this afternoon. She is very sore with puncture wounds on her neck, shoulder, both back legs and underneath one leg. I carried her to the vet’s office where we shaved and cleaned her wounds. After a shot of penicillin, home we came. I put her in the old chicken pen at the farm to keep her safe for now. I don’t know what I will do after she’s healed. I sure do not want her to be attacked again. Maybe I can find a good home for her, we already have too many dogs here at the house.
