Our neighbor and friend had melanoma cancer this past summer and is still undergoing treatments. The community his wife grew up in had a benefit for them today and tonight in the way of a poker tournament with excellent prizes, two meals where you paid by donation, and finally, a pie, cake and donated items auction. It was a huge success and very emotional to see the outpouring of love and money their friends and family bestowed upon them. Something they will never forget and neither will I. It makes you realize how wonderful it is to live and be a part of a small community. Keep fighting the good fight, Mike!
