We’ve started feeding hay… IN JULY for goodness sakes! And, we’re not far from having to water cattle for the second summer in a row. I know when I look around there are far worse problems in the world and the very reason I can and will get through this. We could sell our herd, but then Uncle Sam would get the majority of it. We can and have reduced the numbers and may have to further reduce. At least I can say we are fortunate in the fact that the cattle business in not our main income. I feel for the farmers and ranchers who totally depend on the weather to survive.
